Make a Donation
One-off or Monthly
Australia's athletes dedicate their lives to representing us on the world stage — but for many, the financial reality of elite sport makes that dream nearly impossible to sustain. Your donation directly funds the essentials that keep athletes in the game: equipment, coaching, physiotherapy, nutrition, travel to training camps and international competitions — especially in the lead-up to our home Games. Donations of $2 or more are 100% tax-deductible and go directly to an athlete's Australian Sports Foundation fundraising page.
Make a DonationWhat the $1 Million Challenge Provides
Our flagship program, the $1 Million Challenge, pairs Australian athletes with purpose-driven businesses each year to raise funds, build skills and create lasting partnerships — bringing our four pillars of education, funding, connection and pathways beyond sport to life.
Direct Funding
Through partnerships, fundraising and opportunities within our network, athletes can access direct financial support to fuel their sporting career.
Fundraising Education
To build long-term financial capability and independence.
Mentoring and connection
To build supportive communities, business relationships and leaders.
Pathways beyond sport
Ensuring athletes don't retire in debt — with clear education and career pathways ahead of them.
Behind the Green & Gold | Stefie Fejes
What does it really take to wear the Green & Gold? Behind the Green & Gold is a video series sharing the real stories, challenges and journeys that shape Australia's athletes — in their own words, on their own terms.
Meet Stefie Fejes, a beach volleyball athlete whose dream of standing on top of the podium in the Green & Gold is as fierce as her love for the game — but behind every Green & Gold dream are the realities of travel, training and the financial commitment required to compete at the highest level. That's why the Aussie Athlete Fund exists.
